A leading Devon law firm has won a national award for marketing for the second year in a row, and has clocked up its third national award in a month. Stephens Scown LLP, which is based in Exeter, won the Excellence in Marketing award at the Law Society Excellence Awards, which were announced in London on 20 October. Outsourcing giant, Sitel, is creating 150 jobs at its Exeter call centre as it gears up its customer service offering ready for the Christmas rush.

The company today revealed it plans to create 1100 part and full time jobs nationwide.

The new jobs for Exeter are as a result of Sitel’s work with leading on-line retailers and the roles include sales and customer service advisors providing on-line customer support such as web chat.
