Exeter based financial planning firm Paradigm Norton has been honoured with the UK’s most coveted business award. Paradigm Norton is one of only 185 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in 2026, with just 36 receiving an award for sustainable development.

Missing teenager Arthur Heeler-Frood found

Arthur Heeler-Frood has been found safe and well in Honiton today [Tuesday 15 November].

The 15-year-old was located by officers at Honiton train station after being alerted by a member of the public shortly after 4.30pm.

Arthur is now being reunited with his family.

He went missing after leaving his family home in Axminster on the morning of Tuesday 6 September and failed to turn up at school.

A new countryside park for the local community has been given the go-ahead today on land between Exeter Road and Eastdon Woods north of Shutterton Lane in Dawlish.

Proposed by Councillor Price and seconded by Councillor Mayne, Teignbridge Planning Committee unanimously approved the change of use planning application for the new countryside park which will provide a natural recreational area for local people to enjoy now and into the future.

Value of tourism in Teignbridge increases to £262m

New figures released by Visit South Devon reveal that the value of tourism to Teignbridge is rising. In 2015 alone, tourism contributed £9.8 million more to the local economy than it did in 2014, bringing the total amount brought in to Teignbridge by tourism to £262 million.

200 free theatre tickets for Exeter students

As a result of a new partnership between The Bike Shed Theatre and Hawksmoor Investment Management, two hundred young people from Exeter’s secondary schools and colleges will be given the opportunity to go to the theatre.

A teenager from Exeter Chiefs’ HITZ programme has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

Stagecoach South West has announced its sponsorship of an award-winning community netball club, which has teams across the region.

The transport operator is the headline sponsor for the CASC Teignmouth Thunderbirds (TBirds) Netball Club for the 2016/17 season. Stagecoach South West will be supporting the Exeter and Torbay teams, who regularly play in the Exeter Netball League and the adult and junior Torbay Leagues.
