Bus Workers Union RMT has suspended its planned strike action across Devon.

RMT General Secretary Mick Cash said: “The union is able to confirm that new pay proposals have been tabled by management following intense negotiations.

“After careful consideration and noting this development, the union’s National Executive Committee has decided to suspend the planned industrial action. Moortec, specialists in the design of in-chip monitors, has based its new UK headquarters at Plymouth Science Park.

Local Vauxhall retailer, Eden Motor Group, recently brewed up a massive £15,200 for Macmillan Cancer Support after taking part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’. Eden Motor Group, with dealerships in Exeter, Honiton, Newton Abbot and Torquay, served up slices of cake and numerous cuppas on 29th September in order to raise much needed funds for the charity.
