Exeter announces its bid to become the UK’s City of Culture in 2029 

Exeter City Council has today announced it will be submitting an expression of interest (EOI) for the prestigious UK City of Culture title. 

The City of Culture bid follows the culmination of five months extensive engagement and consultation with artists, creatives, cultural organisations and residents to shape the council’s commissioned new five-year Cultural Strategy for Exeter.

A leading property consultancy in Exeter has made three appointments as it continues to expand in the South West.

Fisher German has welcomed Sarah Teagle as an associate in the firm’s Infrastructure Services Division.

The firm has also appointed two new graduates, with Henry Bosworth also joining the Infrastructure Services Division and Charlotte Scott joining the firm’s Property Management Consultancy Division.

Sarah joins the firm with almost 10 years of property expertise having worked in land referencing before qualifying as a chartered surveyor.
