Nearly £6,000 raised for The British Heart Foundation!

The British Heart Foundation is Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Exeter’s chosen charity for 2026.

The charity was chosen by the President of Exeter CII, Theresa Atal, who is also Compliance Director for Trusted Financial Advice (TFA).

Theresa said: “The British Heart Foundation is a charity very close to my heart - excuse the pun. My father had heart issues, and my partner has a defibrillator fitted. Every pound raised, and all donations handed in their shops around the country, help make a difference to people’s lives.”

Kitchen retailer Kutchenhaus has opened its first-ever new store in Exeter this October, marking its 30th showroom to open in the UK.

The store, at Alphinbrook Court in Marsh Barton, is now open and is having a “Welcome to our Showroom” event on the 19th October at 10 a.m., where the design team will be showing off the the new displays and serving coffee and biscuits.

Boasting 2,000-square-foot of retail space, the Exeter showroom will employ three staff across customer services and kitchen design. The staff boast many years of experience in German kitchen design....

A two-year £1.3m joint project to install at least 25 electric vehicle charge points for public use in car parks across Devon begins in October 2019

Once complete the Devon Low-carbon Energy & Transport Technology Innovator (DELETTI) programme will prevent more than 300 tonnes of carbon from entering the atmosphere every year.

One of Devon's leading law firms has received top ranking in the latest edition of an independent guide to the legal profession.

Exeter-based Stephens Scown LLP is ranked in seventeen sections of Chambers & Partners' UK 2020 guide, with four teams receiving band 1 recognition. Eight of the firm's lawyers received band 1 ranking, and in total 25 lawyers are ranked.

InExeter 2020-2025 ballot opens

The ballot for renewal of the city business improvement district, InExeter, opens today, with businesses in the area being asked to cast their vote for a second term.

Ambitious initiative takes new approach to tackle homelessness in Exeter

People who have been homeless will be at the heart of a new collaborative initiative to tackle the problems of homelessness in Exeter.

Public sector organisations, businesses, charities, residents and people with experience of homelessness will be brought together to form the Exeter Homeless Partnership and will develop a city-wide response to address the issue.
