Leading natural capital asset manager Oxygen Conservation and independent UK law firm Burges Salmon have announced the signing of a landmark partnership valued at up to £1 million . Sparx, a socially focused learning technology company based in Exeter, is to receive a £20 million investment from Oxygen House, an ethical and impact-centric group of companies also based in Exeter. The investment follows an initial £30 million investment from Oxygen House which helped to establish Sparx and to develop and trial the technology.

Top 30 accountancy firm, Bishop Fleming have employed a record number of graduates and school leavers as the firm continues to expand.

The recruitment of 25 graduates, seven school leavers and two 12-month industrial placements comes as the firm celebrates its centenary year and looks to the future.

A group of Exeter College students recently returned from Honduras after working with conservation research organization Operation Wallacea.

A Level students travelled to Cusuco National Park in Honduras after their exams to work with scientists collecting vital data for use in their research on biodiversity and climate change.
