The Devon-wide health and wellbeing charity, Westbank Community Health and Care, is delighted to welcome lawyer Henry Cross as its newest Trustee. Henry is a Senior Associate at Michelmores, specialising in employment law.

A father-of-two from Exeter, Henry already had a broad awareness of the charity when he met Westbank’s Head of Carers Services, Andy Hood, at a networking event a few years ago. Eight arrested linked to County Lines drug supply

Officers in Devon and Cornwall have made a number of arrests as part of a joint operation to tackle the supply of drugs across the country.

Eight men, aged between 19 and 53 are currently in police custody and all were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Heroin and Cocaine; the arrests were made at a number of locations across the region including Plymouth, Exeter and Cullompton.

This month, Exeter Chamber subgroup, Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology (ExIST) held its latest event which focused on the extremely relevant topic of plastics and what impact plastic is having on the planet combined with the science, research and development of alternative materials and technology.

Police appeal for witnesses to attempted robbery in Exeter

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of an attempted robbery in Exeter.

The incident is reported to have happened on Tuesday 30 October between 5.30pm - 5.45pm in the area of Ferndale Road and Sydney Road, St Thomas.

Three young female victims were approached by a male who demanded money from them. The male stated he had a knife however no knife was seen. The male assaulted one of the victims and the walked off empty handed in the direction of Barton Fields.
