Green light for new cycling and walking route in East Devon

East Devon District Council has given a ‘thumbs up’ to a plan for the Clyst Valley Trail.

The plan was endorsed by East Devon’s Strategic Planning Committee.

The 8-mile Clyst Valley Trail will be used by commuters and for recreation by walkers, cyclists, mobility scooters and where possible, horse riders. Devon-based non profit organisation, The Beach Network, will receive 25 pence for every takeaway cup purchased at Exeter Golf and Country Club as part of an effort to significantly reduce plastic consumables at the Club. Foot Anstey has become the sixth law firm to be awarded the National Equality Standard (NES). This was received on first time assessement - something less than a third of businesses have achieved.

The UK National Equality Standard was developed by businesses to bring clarity and consistency to efforts to tackle inequality and promote inclusion.
