Two pupils from Cranbrook Education Campus joined around 60 other Year 7 and 8 students from across the country at a five-day residential course provided by E.ON and designed to inspire tomorrow’s bright sparks to consider a career in a field of STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today (10th August 2018) confirmed the continuation for 2019 Summer of its four summer sun routes from Exeter Airport with multi-frequency weekly services to Alicante, Faro, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca. This is in addition to four flights a week to Norwich.

Organisers of a popular jobs fair are looking for businesses and organisations to take part in the next event this September. The latest jobs fair is being held at Exeter Corn Exchange on 6 September and is being organised in partnership between Exeter City Council and Jobcentre Plus. A local south west house builder has been recognised by Exeter College for championing apprenticeships.

Barratt Homes was awarded the title of Employer of the Month for its work with students and for appointing the UK’s first ever marketing apprentice, Barney Munn.
