Councillors have reaffirmed their commitment to reopening the pool at the Riverside Leisure Centre as soon as crucial repair works are completed.

Leading councillors took part in a site visit to see progress on work to repair major structural weaknesses at the building which were discovered following a major fire in 2017.

Chester Long Court in Exeter, has won the Residential Project of the Year (35 units and under) in the Michelmores Property Awards. There has been a big rise in the number of homes and businesses taking up superfast broadband services thanks to the Connecting Devon and Somerset programme. New figures show take-up is nearly 60%, higher than the national average and a 5% rise on the previous quarter, which means around 180,000 homes and businesses are now using superfast services over new or improved networks funded by CDS.
