The Devon-wide health and wellbeing charity, Westbank Community Health and Care, is delighted to welcome lawyer Henry Cross as its newest Trustee. Henry is a Senior Associate at Michelmores, specialising in employment law.

A father-of-two from Exeter, Henry already had a broad awareness of the charity when he met Westbank’s Head of Carers Services, Andy Hood, at a networking event a few years ago. Exmouth residents will soon have the chance to hear about ideas for the future of the Queen’s Drive area of the town at a public exhibition on Thursday 14 November 2019 at the Ocean Suite, LED Ocean, Exmouth, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, organised by Hemingway Design and supported by East Devon District Council.

An Exeter lawyer has been appointed to the internet committee of a global trade mark organisation.

Ben Travers, partner and head of intellectual property and IT at Stephens Scown LLP, will help to advise the International Trademark Association (INTA) on how trade marks are used in the domain name system.

Katy Toms, a senior engineer at WSP Exeter and Chair of the board of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) South West, has been announced as one of the top 100 Most Influential Women in the engineering sector.
