A response to the banning of Gay Pride in Moscow in 2012 for one hundred years.

We’ll Meet in Moscow is a collaboration between Writer Natalie McGrath (Oxygen, Coasting), Choreographer Jane Mason (Life Forces, Singer), Designer Sophia Clist (Oxygen, The World At Your Feet) and Director Nicola Rosewarne (The Enchanted Palace, Third Light).

Lifelong couple, both romantic and musical, Alyssa and Doug Graham have been performing together since they were teenagers, but fully committed to embracing their duo-ness with the release of The Graham’s debut, Riverman’s Daughter, in 2013.

More than 28 years after they were named the ‘Brightest Hope’ and the ‘Best New Group’ in the influential British music publications Melody Maker and Sounds, Wishbone Ash’s following and influence continue unabated. In 2002, founder members Andy Powell and Ted Turner were voted among the top 20 guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine, and the group’s albums continue to be strong sellers around the world. Exploring Changing Fashions Across Cultures

This Heritage Lottery Funded Project has visited historical locations all over Devon, looking at some precious clothes and accessories from England and the rest of the world.

The group explored ideas and feelings these items inspire in us. What do they remind us of? How do they link to things from our own cultures?

Creative workshops explored these connections further. The workshops were led by a professional, who helped the group express their ideas and feelings through creativity, and share in conversations all about clothing and culture.

Newton St Cyres YFC £1.8k charity donation

Newton St Cyres Young Farmers Club held their AGM on 15th September with Stuart Luxton standing as the new President, Robert Chertion as Chairman, Georgina Davie Vice-Chairman and Millie Murphy as secretary. The club is going from strength to strength with an increased number of members since the new members evening arranged to recruit younger people, and a selection of activities and club socials held within the first month.

A festive motorbike cavalcade with a special difference will take place just a couple of weeks before Christmas this year – and YOU could be part of it.

The riders will be delivering Christmas toys to youngsters with life-limiting illnesses at the South West Children’s Hospice.
