However, it has been her subsequent solo albums which signalled her increasing ability to assimilate different musical styles and make them all very much her own.
From the traditional to the contemporary, Eddi brings to joyous life all forms of song and what sets Reader apart is the depth and quality of the emotional performance; her ability not only to move the listener but to connect her...

After beginning his Uncarved Block tour here last year, Tom Baxter returns to Exeter Phoenix.
After gathering broad critical and public acclaim for his first two albums – Feather & Stone and Skybound – Tom took time out to rediscover his passion for the guitar and love of song-writing. It was a journey that took him from the wilds of Devon, through the foothills of India, the mountains of Southern Spain, and ended in California. The end result was The Uncarved Block – Part One which showcases his masterful guitar-playing and the raw, confessionary depth of his lyrics and voice...

Barry Ashworth’s evergreen bunch of dubwise vagabonds have been rocking practically every festival in existence this summer, promoting and finally releasing their new album — their sixth. And it’s another corker.

This Heritage Lottery Funded Project has visited historical locations all over Devon, looking at some precious clothes and accessories from England and the rest of the world.
The group explored ideas and feelings these items inspire in us. What do they remind us of? How do they link to things from our own cultures?
Creative workshops explored these connections further. The workshops were led by a professional, who helped the group express their ideas and feelings through creativity, and share in conversations all about clothing and culture.
