Creepy crawlies, things that jump, squirm, swim and have lots of wriggling legs - Oh yes! Join our Forest School team leaders and discover the mini-beasties that live in the Escot wetlands. You will be equipped with magnifying glasses, bug collection pots and fishing nets to help you in your quest. Then try your hand at making Blob Monsters or building a den with the help of Escot master den-builders! But will it stand up to the water test!

Egg–tastic Easter Egg Hunt

To get into the swing of the easter holidays our Easter egg hunt takes place all day every day until the 12th April. Collect a clue sheet from the kiosk and see if you can find the eggs hidden around the park. A chocolate prize and certificate is awarded for every completed clue sheet.

You can also decorate your own paper egg to take home with you or peg it up in the park for all our visitors to enjoy! 50p per paper egg.

During Easter weekend we have a very special GOLDEN EASTER EGG HUNT - keep your eyes peeled for these very special eggs hidden around the park - each egg...

Muse add Exeter date to Psycho tour

Muse are to play Exeter's Great Hall as a last minute addition to their latest Psycho tour - a rare treat for the Cathedral City.

The Teignmouth three-piece have sold over 17 million albums worldwide and their last album The 2nd Law, topped the chart in 21 countries in the world, including the UK. It was also their highest ever debut in the USA, entering their chart at No 2.

They will be playing the Great Hall on Exeter's University campus on 20th March. Tickets are bound to sell out quickly.

Free music lessons in Exeter

Musicroom Exeter is supporting national Learn To Play Day, with free music lessons at the store on Saturday 21st March.

The annual event, run by the Music for All charity aims to encourage everyone to ‘Learn To Play’ a musical instrument.

Celebrating youth sport in Devon

Over 1,200 participants are set to take part in The Devon Winter School Games on Thursday 19 March, at Torbay Leisure Centre and Paignton Community & Sports Academy.

This event enables young people from schools throughout Devon to participate in competitions spanning nine different sports including cross country, goalball, handball, hockey, netball, rugby and table tennis. Young people from local schools and colleges will also be involved in organising the event on the day as over 100 of them will be recruited as ‘Games Maker’ style volunteers.
