Exetreme Imagination is a festival of writing for and by young people, as well as for older generations who wish to celebrate our young people's achievements and reminisce over their own childhood memories.
With events at various locations in and around the city of Exeter, the festival runs from 16-24 February 2013.
The festival has grown up through a collaboration of partners across the city and beyond who all aspire to celebrate young people's literature, art and culture. Pre-festival projects have produced many exhibitions and performances waiting to be seen and enjoyed...
Villagers in Silverton are bracing themselves for the onslaught of an intergalactic battle between giant ants and evil lizards, aided by a dalek of course, as space wars come to mid Devon.
The terrifying creatures will land in the Exe Valley this February in a brand new space-age community musical.
The interstellar Ants in Space! bursts on stage at Silverton Community Hall from February 21 – 23 2013 featuring four live, action-packed, shows.

Join family history expert Mary Hyland of Plantagenesta for an informative 45 minute talk followed by an hour long workshop where you can start climbing your family tree.
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and afternoon tea will be served (included in the price).
You should come with a little prior knowledge of your family, even if that's just who your parents or grandparents were.

The Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Rob Newby, is hosting a Valentine’s Masquerade Ball in aid of his chosen charity SOCOPS (Social Opportunities), on Friday 15 February.
