The experience of shopping in Exeter is set to rocket to new heights with the launch of the new John Lewis store on the corner of Sidwell Street, which opens its doors to the public at 9am on Friday 12th October. Police are asking the public to come forward to help identify a haul of jewellery recovered by officers in Exeter.
Officers believe the numerous items of jewellery – including distinctive rings and watches – may have been stolen during burglaries or thefts in Devon and Cornwall or further afield.
The appeal follows the arrest of a 57-year-old Exeter man in July in connection with handling stolen goods.
Exeter police are urging anyone who recognises the items to come forward and contact them.
