Staff, residents, relatives and the local community came together on July 30th at Cumberland Grange Care Home in Exeter to enjoy a Charity Summer Fete held in the home’s grounds to help raise money for the RD&E Hospital Charity – The Starfish Appeal.
Cumberland Grange hosted a variety of activities throughout the day including garden games, a bouncy castle, face painting, a BBQ, tombola, raffle, and a variety of wonderful stalls. Balloons, a charity based in Exeter that provides bereavement support to young people were delighted to be awarded a grant of £1,950 from the Morrisons Foundation.
Thanks to the donation, the charity will be able to train a new group of volunteer Grief Support Workers.
