Irish Pop Sensations Boyzone are set to play a headline show on Sunday June 28 at Newton Abbot Racecourse. This will be the first major Pop Concert to be held at the Racecourse and is also one of only a handful of dates that Boyzone will play in 2015 making this night a key one for your calendar.

Biker seriously injured in Kenton crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision involving two buses and a motorcycle in Kenton.

The collision happened at around 7.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 3 March) on the A379 between the Powderham turning and Kenton village.

A double-decker bus and grey Yamaha motorcycle were travelling from Exeter towards Dawlish, and a single-decker bus was travelling in the opposite direction at the time of the incident.

Brian takes the plunge for FORCE

A former Exeter head teacher has raised more than £900 for cancer charity FORCE by taking up the challenge to swim a mile every day throughout February.

Brian Small from Newton Poppleford was among around 50 swimmers who signed on for the month-long 28 miles in 28 days campaign at LED Leisure pools in Sidmouth, Honiton, Exmouth and Yeovil.

The majority swam at Exmouth where 28 people each did their bit for the charity.

Brian is a regular at Sidmouth Swimming Pool and routinely swims more than 60 lengths of the 25 metre pool daily.

Bursts of colour spring up at Killerton

The garden and parkland at Killerton estate near Exeter, is one of the top places in the Southwest to see early spring blooms; and this year they are putting on quite a show.

Visitors are flocking to Killerton to herald the end of winter and see the carpets of cyclamen and swathes of snowdrops before they fade. Flashes of pink, purple, yellow and white can be found all over the grounds, with the magnolia, crocuses and daffodils also springing into life.

Westpoint Exeter will be a 4,500 sell-out for Thursday's Betway Premier League following record ticket sales for the tournament's visit to the south-west.
