David Wilson Redrow South West is inviting children in Devon and across the UK to take part in its Junior Playmakerscompetition, encouraging young minds to design an inclusive playground for children of all abilities.

Open to ages 7–14, the competition asks entrants to submit drawings of their dream play space. The winning designs will be built in communities nationwide, supporting the company’s pledge to create 100 new inclusive playgrounds each year.

Drone footage captures Iron Bridge refurbishment in Exeter

A bird’s-eye view has revealed the scale of the work recently carried out on Exeter’s historic Iron Bridge.

The Grade II Listed structure, which dates back to 1834, underwent a five-month programme of repairs to protect its cast iron framework. Drone footage taken by the engineering team documented the project from start to finish, showing the bridge’s transformation.

A housebuilder is celebrating after all 265 homes in its Exeter development have sold.
