A unique event is being held in Topsham later this month - and it’s hoping to unlock the ‘hidden museum’ we each have in our homes.

Topsham’s Table Top Museum is an opportunity for anyone with a collection of any kind to display it for a day.

A planning application has been submitted for the next phase of the Teign Estuary Trail.

Devon County Council has been supported by Teignbridge District Council in preparing the proposals to develop a 5km section of multi-use trail between Passage House Inn in Newton Abbot and the A381 at La Roche Maurice Walk, east of Bishopsteignton.

Bickleigh Bridge on the A396 in Mid Devon will reopen to traffic on Bank Holiday Monday, a week earlier than planned.

An articulated lorry hit the parapet wall on the downstream side of the Bickleigh Bridge in the early hours of May 18.

When the driver realised he had taken the wrong line onto the bridge, he attempted to reverse - it was this reversing manoeuvre that caused the damage.

The bridge has been closed to traffic since the accident, although pedestrians and cyclists have been allowed access.
