From Monday 17 January 2022, South Western Railway (SWR) will be introducing a new timetable, which is designed to ensure reliability for customers and cater to key workers, school pupils and those who cannot work from home.

The Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust (DPHT) is appealing for help to rebuild its donation cairn after it was broken into during the festive period.

The charity's headquarters are on the Parke Estate at Bovey Tracey where it has a carpark next to its visitor and education centre.

It relies on honesty donations from those who park there to pay for hay to feed its six ponies, four of which are used for its Ponies Inspiring People programme, an education, engagement outreach scheme.

New coffee pod recycling collections to start in Exeter

People in Exeter can take advantage of a new kerbside recycling service for plastic and aluminium coffee pods, the City Council has announced.

Starting on 24 January, Exeter residents will be able to have their coffee pods collected from home.

The City Council has teamed up with Podback, a not-for-profit coffee recycling service, to offer the free collections.
