After tickets were snapped up fast by excited families across the UK, Disney On Ice has added Exeter to its upcoming tour.

Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero will now be at the Westpoint Arena from the 11th – 14th November 2021.

New Date for Race for Life in Exeter

ORGANISERS of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life in Exeter have announced a new date this autumn for the much-loved event.

The charity has postponed Race for Life events this spring and summer across the UK to protect the country’s health during the coronavirus outbreak. This includes the Race for Life 5K series which starts at Westpoint on 18th and 19 July, which can no longer take place.

Sunshine, stunning livestock and school children helped to make the second day of the Devon County Show at Westpoint, Exeter another happy and memorable day.

For the first time since 2012, the Exeter Army Careers Centre is hosting the Devon & Somerset Schools’ Challenge.

As the name suggests the event is a competition between visiting local schools, where they will participate in a variety of Army themed exercises, designed to test and develop their communication skills, team-working and leadership. Thundering-hooved Shetland ponies, motorcycle acrobatics and the giant Devon Eye swung the county’s largest annual event into thrilling action.

The largest temporary structure at the Devon County Show on May 19-21 at Westpoint, Exeter will house an explosion of floral colour and scent.

Measuring 11,815 sq metres, which is bigger than a Premier League football pitch, the pavilion will be bursting with the sights and smells of spring.

The 121st Devon County Show was launched in style by The Countess of Arran and Show Secretary Ollie Allen at Southernhay House, Exeter.

In Spring sunshine the pair revealed a huge line-up of entertainment and the vital role Devon’s largest event plays in the life of the county.

EU Farm Commissioner to attend County Show

The most powerful man in European farming, EU Agriculture Commissioner, Phil Hogan, will be attending the Devon County Show on Thursday May 19.
