When Rob Gillett, from Bridgend, tipped the scales at 41 stone 10lbs, he knew that if he didn't lose weight soon, his life would be in grave danger. At just 25 years old, his BMI was a staggering 104 (the healthy range is between 18-25), and doctors were becoming increasingly concerned about his health. However two years on, Rob has turned his life around by losing more than 20 stone through the LighterLife programme. His weight is now an incredible 12 stone 9lbs.
People decide to lose weight for many different reasons. They may be concerned about their health, or want to change their appearance, or improve their quality of life. Many are initially successful losing the weight but then struggle to stop it piling back on.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind while you embark on your studies. 1. Wash your face with an acne-fighting cleanser twice in the morning and twice in the evening and each time you sweat, such as after the gym. A new countywide campaign starts this month, encouraging drivers out of their cars, and to walk or cycle to work.
Although Devon is predominantly a rural county, a great many residents live within easy walking or cycling distance to work and yet choose to drive.
