Westlife’s reunion on the big screen in Exeter for one night only!

RECORD-BREAKING boyband Westlife are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their first No. 1 single with a reunion tour that is set to mark one of pop’s most sensational comebacks.

The Twenty Tour was sold out in minutes, but for one memorable night it will also be shown in Vue as the performance is broadcast live from Dublin’s Croke Park stadium.

Fans can look forward to a two-hour show that brings a host of brand new music performed by Shane, Nicky, Mark and Kian, alongside many of their most-loved hits.

BRITISH supergroup Take That are celebrating their 30th anniversary in style with a massive stadium tour.

And for one night only, their Greatest Hits tour will be coming live to Vue Exeter.

DISNEY fans throughout Exeter are being encouraged to put their creativity to the test and design a poster for one of the year's most hotly anticipated movies.

Vue is giving children the chance to design a poster for Dumbo, which is released on Friday 29 March.

The live-action remake of the Disney classic is about a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughing stock, until it is discovered that he can fly. The new version of the film stars Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito.

New Film Society launches in Exeter

This month, Vue Exeter is one of the first in the UK to launch The Film Society, offering members 50% off a specially curated programme of 12 quality films for a one-off fee of just £10.

Two diverse but equally outstanding productions from National Theatre are coming live to Vue Exeter and will form part of its September Big Screen Events calendar. Police hunt thugs who abused people with learning difficulties

Police in Exeter are seeking witnesses after two people with learning difficulties were subjected to verbal abuse by a group of teenage boys.

The man and woman were leaving the Vue Cinema around 7.15pm on Sunday 26 November when the incident happened.

Three boys, aged around 15, blocked the entrance to the cinema and subjected the pair to threats and verbal abuse.

The victims, from Exeter, were left very distressed and fearful and police are treating the incident as a hate crime.

We’re counting down towards April 23rd, children everywhere are putting on their Iron Man masks and wearing their Hulk gloves. The release of The Avengers: Age of Ultron is a huge event in the movie (and real) world and it is likely to become the highest grossing superhero movie of all time, beating its own previous instalment The Avengers which took a mammoth 1.5 billion at the box office in 2012.

Here in Exeter it will be screened first at the Vue cinema at one minute past midnight on April 23rd, that showing has now started selling tickets and they are already going fast....
