Brave skydivers raise money for charity by freefalling almost naked!

What an incredible year at the increasingly popular skydiving school located in South West near Honiton.

The weather has been so good to the local adrenaline junkies this summer, that they have decided to give something back.

Jumping from 15,000ft from the UK’s fastest jump plane is no longer a challenge for experienced skydivers but doing the same for charity wearing just underwear is a different story!

The 35 strong team have already raised over £3,000 which is being split between Breast Cancer Care and Prostate Cancer UK.

Palmers Whitton and Laing’s brave Pam Preston is doing a skydive fundraiser for Hospiscare.

Employees at Palmers Whitton and Laing are rallying around Pam Preston, as she prepares to skydive for Hospiscare. Pam is taking part in a ‘tandem’ sky-dive on 24 August 2013, with her employees, along with family and friends, giving their sponsorship pledges in advance of the big day.

Pam is hoping to raise much-needed funds for Hospiscare, a charity working to provide high-quality care and dedicated support to people who are terminally ill living in Exeter, mid and east Devon....

Karen & Clare raise over £1,380 from Skydive!

Best friends and colleagues, Karen King & Clare Aldrich, faced their fears to experience the exhilaration of a tandem Skydive and raise over £1,380 for Exeter Leukaemia Fund! Karen & Clare, who both work at North Tawton Primary School, were securely harnessed to their instructors on 21 June as they jumped from 15,000ft. They were able to take in views including the South & North Devon coastlines, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset and the Bristol Channel to South Wales!
