Andrew Lloyd Webber’s rarely seen masterpiece “Aspects of Love” is to be staged in an exciting new production by the recently formed theatrical production company EX3 Productions. The company, established by local musical director Jeremy Rawlings, secured the rights after weeks of negotiations with the Really Useful Group.

The musical premiered in London’s West End 3 years after Phantom of the Opera, opening at the Prince of Wales theatre on 17th April 1989. The production ran for 3 years totting up a very respectable 1325 performances.

Sidmouth Literary Festival announces bumper line up for 2017

THE amazing Christopher Biggins will launch the third Sun, Sea & Books literary festival in Sidmouth next month.

For the first time, the festival is spread over three days and different venues in the town, with Sidholme Hotel, Elysian Fields, hosting the launch roadshow from 10am until 2pm on Friday, June 23.

Christopher, who has appeared in many British TV classics, as well as being one of the Grand Dames of panto, will be interviewed by highly respected local broadcaster, Judi Spiers.

Sidmouth cliff fall warning

Following a recent cliff fall at East Beach, a new sign warning of the dangers posed by cliff falls and rising tides has been installed by East Devon District Council on the emergency egress steps at Alma Bridge, by East Beach, in Sidmouth.

The new sign features a photograph of an actual cliff fall, taken in 2009 by Sidmouth resident Eve Mathews, as well as graphics showing a cliff fall and rising tides, together with a link to cliff safety information on the East Devon website.
