Poltimore House Trust has appointed Dr Peter Totterdill as its new Chairman of Trustees for the charity whose aim is to renovate and refurbish the historic building on the outskirts of Exeter to create a visitor experience, events venue and a centre for well-being projects.

Poltimore House : Heritage Open Day

Heritage Open Days celebrates England’s architecture and culture by allowing visitors free access to interesting properties that are either not usually open, or would normally charge an entrance fee. Crikey Goes to Poltimore House

Christmas Fair

Start the Christmas season off with a day out at the Poltimore House Christmas Fair. Enjoy the festive atmosphere with a range of locally produced, many hand-made, gifts available to buy

This events is mainly indoors in our refurbished Chapel and Project Centre. The Hall of the House will also be open, newly painted and festively decorated.

Father Christmas will be visiting for the day with a small gift for all the children. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Admission £1.50 (Children aged under 5 free)

Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs Drive It Day

Come and take a stroll around our house and grounds, and view the magnificent vehicles on display.

This event relates to British-based clubs/independent enthusiasts rather than just British marques.

Admission on the day for spectators: £2 adults, £1 children.

A small pressing charge will be made per litre of juice. Refreshments available.
