M&S Opticians opens its doors in Exeter

Marks & Spencer has today, Thursday 17th February opened the newest branch of its M&S Opticians service, located in the retailer’s popular Exeter store.

M&S Exeter has become one of the first stores in the country to launch this new, expert opticians service, which includes a full eye health examination (OCT scan) for every eye test booked at no additional fee.

M&S commits to helping young people in Exeter into work by backing Government Kickstart scheme

M&S Exeter is taking applications for a newly launched work placement programme to enable young people, aged 16-24, to gain valuable experience to help them onto the career ladder.

Supporting the UK Government’s Kickstart programme, M&S has created 360 work placements across the breadth of the country.

The programme will be run in partnership with The Prince’s Trust – M&S’s long-standing employability and Sparks charity partner. The first Kickstart cohort of 180 placements across 30 Regional Academy stores including six placements delivered in Exeter in April...

Exeter can now order M&S Food on Deliveroo

Deliveroo and M&S have today announced that customers can now order an expanded M&S Food range on the Deliveroo app, via the Exeter store.

This announcement follows the launch of more than 100 M&S BP Franchise stores in March.

The extended range will mean customers can enjoy quick and easy dinner options such as restaurant quality Gastropub meals, popular prepared meals such as Indian, Chinese and Italian as well as a wide selection of M&S’s fantastic fresh produce for your own scratch cooking. Crucial funds reach community groups in Exeter during COVID-19 relief effort

The Neighbourly Community Fund, set up less than a month ago and kickstarted by M&S, has announced its support for local organisations in Devon, from food banks to youth clubs. The nationwide scheme has been set up to help provide immediate emergency funding to support the most vulnerable during the Covid-19 crisis.

As well as an initial £100k cash injection from the M&S family, vital funds for the scheme are also being raised by Sparks cards customers, who are able to select Neighbourly as their chosen Sparks charity when they shop with M&S in store or online....

Marks & Spencer Exebridges has donated truckloads of carrots and parsnips to hungry donkeys this Christmas. In the spirit of seasonal giving, M&S’ generous act was met with delight by staff and donkeys alike at The Donkey Sanctuary’s headquarters in Sidmouth, Devon.

The new Marks & Spencer (M&S) Foodhall in Exmouth is set to open at 10am on Wednesday 29th March. Located on Royal Avenue, a stone’s throw from the railway station, the M&S Foodhall will feature a 24 seat Café, as well as the very best of M&S’s innovative and delicious food and drink products.

M&S Spark Something Good for Exeter cancer charity

M&S colleagues and a team of local volunteers rolled up their sleeves to give the garden at FORCE Cancer Charity’s Support and Information Centre a thorough tidy-up.

Over the course of a week, M&S colleagues and customers joined forces as part of the special volunteering initiative that has had a big impact on 24 local charities.
