With a career spanning over five decades Lee Scratch Perry is one of the most iconic figures in reggae and dub, working with the likes of Bob Marley, Junior Murvin, The Congos, Max Romeo and eponymous Lee Perry & The Upsetters. His eclectic range of styles has seen him work in variety of genres like Rocksteady, Jungle and Dubstep.
He is the godfather of dub, the high priest of reggae, Bob Marley’s producer and a truly original musical innovator. From 1970s Jamaica to the present day his music has been groundbreaking and his influence consistently epic.
