The Mighty Diamonds — Donald “Tabby” Shaw, Fitzroy ”Bunny” Simpson and Lloyd “Judge” Ferguson – formed in 1969 in the Trenchtown area of Kingston, Jamaica. They are the most consistent and long-running vocal trio in Jamaican musical history and for the past 41 years have been entertaining and educating the world with their sweet harmonies and conscious lyrics.

Hurricane Sandy swept over Jamaica on Wednesday, bringing heavy rains and rising winds. The hurricane also tore down power lines and trees.
Sandy strengthened into a strong category two hurricane as it reached south-east Cuba, where it caused landfall west of Santiago de Cuba. At least 55,000 people have been evacuated, according to Cuban officials.
A hurricane watch is in place in the Bahamas, and Florida has been placed on tropical storm watch.
