Six of the Westcountry's top sporting stars will descend on Sandy Park to feature in a special 'Question of Sport' night on Thursday, 24th January.

Based around the same successful workings of the hit BBC show, the stars will have their sporting knowledge tested during a series of fun-filled rounds that will be overseen by quizmaster Mark Tyler.

The teams will be made up of two Exeter Chiefs players - Alex Cuthbert and Sam Simmonds, two Exeter City players - Jake Taylor and Pierce Sweeney, Somerset County Cricket's James Hildreth and Olympic Swimming Champion Liam Tancock...

Jake Taylor signs new deal at St James Park

Captain Jake Taylor says he is excited about the future at Exeter City having put pen to paper on a new deal at St James Park.

The midfielder, who has been an integral part of the team over the past two-and-a-half seasons, says the club is moving in the right direction and he was keen to tie down his future at St James Park because of that.

“I am very pleased,” he said. “The future at Exeter City is exciting. Since Matty (Taylor) has come in he has showed us it is completely different this year and it is definitely something I want to be involved in going forward.”

Midfielder returns to St James Park

Exeter City have completed the signing of Reading midfielder Jake Taylor.

Twenty-four-year-old Taylor returns to the Grecians after a loan spell with the club that lasted for the majority of the 2011-12 season.

The twice-capped Welsh international spent the first part of the season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Motherwell, but he has now completed a permanent move to St James Park as he brings an end to a seventeen-year spell with the Royals.
