In a bid to continue its commitment of making a day at the races affordable for all, Newton Abbot Racecourse will welcome back its popular 2-4-1 ticket promotion with a difference this season.
In past years, the racecourse has offered a 2-4-1 promotion on all Monday fixtures. However, with a change in this year’s racing programme, with a fall to just three Monday fixtures and an increase to six evening meetings, the racecourse will instead introduce a 2-4-1 ticket promotion for all evening fixtures.
This season, Newton Abbot Racecourse will be giving horseracing enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the thrill of owning a racehorse with the launch of the first ever Newton Abbot Races Racing Syndicate.
The syndicate’s horse will be purchased in May and will be trained by leading national hunt trainer, Philip Hobbs. Created as an affordable taster to racehorse ownership, membership for one year will cost just £500.
After a hugely successful season opener, Newton Abbot Racecourse is expecting bumper crowds at their second fixture of the season on Easter Saturday 4th April.
As one of the most popular fixtures of the season for families, the racecourse will again be welcoming the first 200 children through the gates with a free chocolate Easter egg to celebrate the extended weekend.

Set in the stunning Devon countryside, Exeter Racecourse is scheduled to stage 17 race meetings in 2015, including the Grade 2 Haldon Gold Cup in November, which has been contested by the likes of Best Mate, Kauto Star and Desert Orchid. Following a five month winter break, the course is promising an improved experience for all with the unveiling of a number of developments at the course over the winter for the benefit of racegoers, owners, trainers and jockeys.

Racing will start at 2:10pm and gates will open at 12:10pm. The last race will be at 5:10pm.
Once again this season, children aged 16 and under, plus students with a valid photographic student ID / NUS card, can enjoy free entry to all fixtures.
Tickets are priced at £12 for the Course Enclosure and £18 for the Paddock Enclosure. You can purchase tickets online up to 5pm the day before the fixture. Tickets will also be available on the gate on the day.
Irish Pop Sensations Boyzone are set to play a headline show on Sunday June 28 at Newton Abbot Racecourse. This will be the first major Pop Concert to be held at the Racecourse and is also one of only a handful of dates that Boyzone will play in 2015 making this night a key one for your calendar.
