Arguably, the greatest asset of a business is its digital and social media presence but it is also its greatest vulnerability. It can take years to build up a following, (unless you get TikTok followers from some agency), but a few seconds to destroy it with a careless tweet or post or not being able to respond quickly enough to negative comments and feedback or a hack.

The next Exeter Raspberry Jam will take place on Saturday 7th November at Exeter Library between 10:00 - 12:00. It will take place in the Rougemont Room rather than Meeting Room 1. Just ask in the foyer if you're not sure where to go. As usual there will be lots to do, plenty of help and advice and pis to play with.

We will be running sessions on how to make an led blink and sonic pi, these are not bookable but available on a first come first served basis.

Hackers take credit for "taking down" Instagram website

Hackers have claimed responsibility for taking down the website of popular photo sharing app Instagram.

The website, Instagram.com, was down for a number of hours yesterday. The company have not released a statement but members of the internet hactivist group Anonymous claimed responsibility.

Hackers claimed that the site was down in 35 countries and Twitter user @AnonymousOwn3r claimed responsibility. (NewsPoint)
