Salcombe ‘Live’ Music and Comedy Festival 2022 announces line-up

Details of the third annual Salcombe ‘Live’ music and comedy festival have been released. Starting on Friday 7th October and running until Sunday 9th October 2022, this free weekend of live entertainment will bring together famous faces from the world of folk, funk, swing, ska, jazz and blues music, alongside a smattering of stellar stand-up comedy artists, and entertainers.

The Crediton Parish Church Flower Festival is one of the main fundraising events for the upkeep of Holy Cross and many people from our parishes work to make it a very special and memorable week.

The 2019 Festival has the intriguing title ‘Colours of the Wind’ and runs from 10am on Saturday 1st June until 5pm on Thursday 6th June.

Work towards the 2019 Flower Festival began as soon as the 2018 Festival ended.

The Teignmouth and Dawlish Drama Festival (TADDfest) takes place each year in the spring at the lovely Shaftesbury Theatre in Dawlish.

Our Festival Competitions are open to amateur dramatic groups or societies from across Devon and Cornwall.

WESC Foundation is a charity based near Exeter which provides specialist education, care, and therapy to children and young people with sight loss and complex needs. The Summer Fete is a fundraiser and will feature classic fete stalls on our track field (like the tombola, bottle stall, raffle, and coconut shy), face painting, live music in the marquee, dance performances, cream teas and homemade cakes, and lots of fun and games for all ages. Everyone is welcome!

The Teignmouth Drama Festival is now in its 21st year and is open to any amateur drama group in Devon. This year's festival will take place, for the second year running, at the Shaftesbury Theatre in Dawlish.

We had a really good time there last year and look forward to being in Dawlish again. The festival runs from Thursday 16th March to Saturday 18th March 2017. Get Changed Theatre Company is delighted to present a contemporary dance interpretation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland in collaboration with the Cornish dance company Shallal.
