Inspired by the classic story Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl, this humorous and heart-warming tale for all the family follows Mr Monty Fox and his farcical friends as they embark on a dangerous and thrilling adventure when their home is unearthed by The Hunters.

An energetic physical theatre production, FOX pays homage to Charlie Chaplin and is underscored by Exeter University’s Big Band jazz orchestra, playing the likes of Benny Goodman, Sammy Nestico and Duke Ellington etc.

As the outside world passes by the window, they are quite content with a life of model railways and Amazon deliveries. When her dad dies, Rosie grows isolated from the outside world and has to face the prospect of engaging with reality.

The Skints

The Skints are a reggae and dub band of upstarts from East London. They mix Jamaican styles with pop hooks, grimey raps, filthy basslines and a punk rock work ethic to create a sound familiar to newcomers, yet unique below the surface. The band have toured across the UK and Europe with a variety of bands including Reel Big Fish, Gym Class Heroes, Less Than Jake, The Beat and The King Blues as well as making numerous festival appearances including at Devon’s Beautiful Days festival.

Cancer Bats and Idiom

After supporting Enter Shikari on their 2012 tour, Canada’s favourite good-time metallers Cancer Bats have announced that they will be returning to the UK for a mammoth headline tour in March 2013, which will see them playing here, at Exeter Phoenix.

To say that the tour with Enter Shikari has been a success would be a gross understatement. The band saw a packed out Roundhouse erupt into a human whirlpool of hyped up moshers and sweaty flailing limbs in response to an relentless collection of Cancer Bats’ finest.
