The foodie heaven celebration that is the Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink returns this May 8th - 10th and this year is bringing the best of the local music scene to Exeter along for this exciting annual event.

The festival kicks off for all VIP guests & press on Thursday 7th May, with the gates opening for general ticket holders on Friday 8th May - this year’s early May Bank Holiday, making it the perfect place to celebrate the historic VE Day. The early May Bank Holiday weekend saw Exeter’s Northernhay Gardens and Castle Courtyard transformed into a foodie’s paradise as the 14th Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink sprang up.

Crowds gathered to see hundreds of local producers, top chefs including Tom Kerridge, Michael Caines MBE, Simon Hulstone, Michael Wignall, Paul Ainsworth, Josh Eggleton and Mark Dodson, family activities, masterclasses and freshly cooked locally-sourced street food.

For the first time in its history, the festival ran on the Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday drawing thousands...

More than 100 guests attended the latest Exeter Chamber of Commerce networking lunch which took place at the 2016 Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink.

The event was sponsored by Paignton Zoo and delegates were given a presentation on the coffee industry and specifically the impact that coffee producers have on the environment.

The sun shone upon the crowds that flocked to day two of the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink today.

Hundreds of people enjoyed a packed line-up of activities including chef demonstrations, workshops, festival farmyard, cheese and wine masterclass, live music, Festival Question Time with BBC Radio Devon presenters as well as plenty of delicious regional food and drink to enjoy.

Food festival attracts crowds despite the rain

Hundreds of hardy souls braved the elements to attend the opening day of the South West Festival of Exeter Food and Drink.

Now in its 13th year and once again at Exeter Castle and Northernhay Gardens until Sunday, the Festival attracts more than 100 artisan food and drink producers from the region selling delicious south west meat, cheeses, bread, cider, wine, beer, oils, cakes and much more.

The highly acclaimed, Michael Caines’ 7 Chefs Dinner is being held at Exeter Golf and Country Club this year, strengthening links between the club and the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink.

Volunteers wanted for Exeter Food Festival

Volunteers are wanted to help out at this year’s Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink which takes place from 22-24 April at Exeter Castle and Northernhay Gardens.

The annual event is Exeter’s largest city centre food and drink Festival with 100 regional producers signed up to take stalls in the Pavilion marquees.
