A vehicle leasing company says customers should be given the choice to speak with a female employee from enquiries through to sales.

The Devon based company, Carparison, are offering customers the option of speaking to a female member of the team in an effort to make customers feel more comfortable when doing business with the automotive industry.

One-third of all employees in the UK feel undervalued at work, according to new national research revealed today.

The research, conducted by Appreciate Business Services, the home of Love2shop, puts the number of employees who feel undervalued across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland at 10 million people.

Nearly four-fifths (79%) of employees who feel undervalued are looking for a job elsewhere, with that figure increasing to nine out of ten (90%) among the youngest demographic aged 18-24.

Almost a third (31%) of employees in the South West don’t feel comfortable opening up about their mental health issues and concerns to anyone at work, a new survey shows.

The findings come from Just Eat for Business for Mental Health Awareness Week - which takes place between the 9th and 15th May - to encourage employers to provide a safe space for employees to discuss mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety and burnout.

Foot Anstey launches electric car scheme to over 600 employees

Foot Anstey, the national law firm, is taking a big step to reduce its carbon footprint by incentivising its over 600 employees to drive electric vehicles (EV) or ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEV). Aon is offering an ‘affordable’ and ‘flexible’ health plans to small-to-medium-sized businesses.

Aon said the partnership with Equipsme is extremely relevant as employers are thinking more about their health since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
