A ‘night with the tigers’ for girls from Girlguiding South West England

Girlguiding South West England have teamed up with Dartmoor Zoological Society to provide its members with a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a sleepover at Dartmoor Zoo. Over 500 girls, ranging from 7-year-old Brownies through to Guides, Rangers and Young Leaders are due to sleep over at the zoo across dates in May, June and October. A further 270 girls, from the youngest 4-year-old Rainbows, through to Young Leaders and their Unit Leaders are coming for the day. The first two sleepovers will happen between 30 May and 1 June 2023.

Paul Colsell, a local artist, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to create a mural in the heart of Exeter. Known as the Exeter Kindness Mural it will feature the work of celebrated artist and author, Charley Mackesy. A key objective of the project is to celebrate kindness in the city.
