Families for Children, Chief Executive Caroline Davis, OBE, has received a Lifetime Achievement award for her services to children and adoption in the South West. Caroline beat off three others worthy contenders from across the UK to be awarded the Gareth Marr Lifetime Achievement Award the National Adoption Week awards in London.

More than 60 employers inspired the next generation at the recent Apprenticeship Expo 2018 hosted at Exeter College, on behalf of the South West Apprenticeship Ambassador Network.

Now in its fourth year, the Apprenticeship Expo was the biggest event to take place in the South West during National Apprenticeship Week (5th - 11th March 2018).

The Expo showcased employers of Apprentices and gave young people the chance to speak to businesses, discover opportunities and the benefits of employment with training. The event was free to exhibit at and free to attend.
