From late summer into autumn, South Devon is set to celebrate the region’s extraordinary breath of produce and culinary expertise with a host of fantastic food and drink festivals. From mussels, oysters and crab, to epic cider and beer festivals, South Devon has it all. To celebrate ten years of Manna from Devon Cooking School, David and Holly Jones have invited renowned Indian chef, Romy Gill, to co-host a pop up supper on Thursday 17th September. The ticket price of £25 will include a spicy array of delicious dishes served as a three-course menu. This supper, which will take place at Browns Hotel in Dartmouth, will raise funds for the Dartmouth Food Festival.
Jean-Phillippe Bidart, head chef at the Millbrook Inn in South Pool, will this Saturday be demonstrating how to cook an assiette of rose veal at the Dartmouth Food Festival. JP, as he is known, will be on the festival stage in Royal Avenue Gardens at 11am on Saturday, October 26 – below he shares his recipes.
