Concerts in the West goes online with 18 specially pre-recorded classical concerts

Despite the restrictions imposed by Covid-19, classical music charity Concerts in the West is delighted to be in a position to invite its audiences to enjoy some wonderful classical music online in 18 unique pre-recorded concerts, giving people a taste of future live concerts.

The online concerts feature a fantastic line-up of top class musicians, including those who were due to play for Concerts in the West audiences this year, had not the pandemic sadly forced their cancellation, as well as those who have been invited to play in 2021 and 2022.

Concerts in the west September tour is to feature the outstanding violinist Tamsin Waley-Cohen and Emma Parker, Viola player Rosalind Ventris and Cello player Nathaniel Boyd.

The concert will be held at Lower Pulworthy, Highampton, Hatherleigh, on 1 September at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £15 and drinks are available there.

Concerts in the West ticket holders may bring for Free one friend who has never attended a Concerts in the West performance before.

Famed for their love of cake and classical quartet repertoire, a group of dedicated young musicians formed the Kruger Quartet in 2014 with the aim of giving audiences a chance to experience intimate performances of the works of Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven, played using 18th Century instruments and bows.
