Bus passengers are able to access the latest timetable information on “e-booklets” published online.

The timetables, covering all of the districts across the county and all service operators, have been published online on Devon County Council’s Travel Devon website .

The information is the most up-to-date available, but service times can change.

Stagecoach South West and The Devon General Society commemorated 100 years of bus travel with two historic buses and a modern Stagecoach South West bus recreating the original Service 2 route from Exeter to Torquay.

The Devon General Society and Stagecoach South West are teaming up to commemorate 100 years of bus travel in the region.

The Devon General Omnibus and Touring Company started bus operations in South and East Devon in 1919, with the first route between Exeter and Torquay still going strong today. Stagecoach South West has invested £2.5m in a fleet of 14 new, state-of-the-art, British built, single decker buses in Exeter – just in time for Christmas.

All of the vehicles boast luxurious high-backed, e-leather seats and multiple USB charging points.

As with the rest of the fleet, the new buses are fitted with technology that will allow customers to use the Stagecoach mobile app to track their bus live.
