If so, you may want to go to the stage door of the Princess Theatre on Saturday 7 March at 10.30am.

Toads Stage Musical Company, who are presenting one of the first amateur productions of Legally Blonde there, from 23-27 June 2015, are looking for two dogs - a Chihuahua, or similar type, to play Bruiser, (the leading lady - Elle Woods’ dog) and also an interesting, characterful large dog, to play hairdresser Paulette's dog, Rufus.

Open Mic UK 2014 Auditions

National singing competition Open Mic UK have just released their 2014 audition dates, and are calling all singers, singer-songwriters, vocal groups, rappers and solo artists to get involved!

Over 9,000 people entered last year, and with a seventeen-date audition tour set in place for 2014 including Exeter singing auditions, Open Mic UK is set to be even bigger this year! Open Mic UK is visiting Exeter Corn Exchange for the Exeter singing auditions on Saturday 27th September.

New Workshop - Auditions Announced For The Day We Played Brazil

Three extra workshop-auditions have been announced for the upcoming community project, The Day We Played Brazil.

The new auditions will take place on at 7pm on Thursday 6 March at the Exeter Northcott Theatre and two sessions on Sunday 9th March at 10am and 2pm at Kay House on the University of Exeter Campus.

Don’t miss out on your chance to be part of this once in a lifetime experience. People of all ages are needed to take part in the production to play footballers, their wives and sweethearts, Exeter City fans and the people of Exeter over the last century.

People from all over Exeter gathered at St James’ Park yesterday as the first workshop auditions for the upcoming musical The Day We Played Brazil got underway.

Exeter Community Arts Project is looking for 120 people to be part of the project which is set to be the biggest cultural event in Exeter for many years.

Hopefuls as young as 11 took part in the workshop auditions which involved playing drama games, singing songs from the show, dancing, and acting parts of the script in large groups.

Exeter Community Arts Project is searching for 120 people aged from 11 to 99 to make and perform The Day We Played Brazil, the new musical play which is set to be the biggest cultural event in Exeter for many years.

Central to the story are the 1914 Exeter City football team so we are calling all young men out there who’d like to have a go at singing and dancing to come along and get involved.
