The Big Draw at RAMM: Line up for the House of Horrors

Sketch a scene inspired by the architecture of our wonderful Victorian museum and create a Halloween cartoon featuring museum objects. For children aged 6 and over.

10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm.

Accompanying adults can watch/supervise for free. All children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Some activities are messy so do wear clothes that can get dirty. If an activity is busy there may be a short wait.

Unlocking The Golden Years of Devon Ornamental Plasterwork

John Thorp, an expert on ornamental plasterwork, will describe the history of decorative plasterwork in Devon from 1550 to 1720, tracing its spread from aristocratic houses to the lower gentry and eventually the more prosperous farmers.

RAMM museum exhibition: Warriors of the Plains

A rare opportunity to explore the fascinating world of Native North American warfare and ritual.

The exhibition focuses on the material culture of Native North American Indians of the Plains between 1800 and the present, and the importance of the objects in a social and ceremonial context.

This exhibiton runs until January 13, 2013.
