With just a few days until Exeter’s Great West Run, sponsored by Tozers, the 4,000 runners signed up for this year’s event are sure to be feeling a mix of nerves, anticipation and above all, excitement ahead of their half marathon challenge on Sunday 18th October! Business as usual in Exeter Fanzone

It’s business as usual in Exeter’s Rugby World Cup 2015 Fanzone despite England not qualifying for the quarter finals of the Tournament.

The great atmosphere that has been enjoyed by more than 17,300 people continues in the Fanzone today (Wednesday 7 October) with Exeter’s second Host City match, Namibia versus Georgia being screened in Northernhay Gardens at 8pm.

Before that, there’s South Africa v USA at 4.45pm on the big screen, plus live music and entertainment in between and after all the Rugby action.

Rugby World Cup 2015 continues to grip the nation with over half a million local and international fans enjoying the Official Fanzones up and down the country to watch live matches and enjoy the excitement of the Tournament.

Ikale Tahi, the Tonga Rugby Union team are staying in Exeter for Rugby World Cup 2015.

Cool, wet August ends mixed summer

After a dry and warm start, summer 2015 is set to end on an average note with temperatures and rainfall close to normal for the season.

Exeter really does have a monopoly on the world’s favourite family board game, Monopoly.

That’s because the city dubbed too posh to have an Old Kent Road on its board has seen its Devon rival ban the forthcoming official edition, it is announced today (Thursday 27th August 2015).

Flybe brings back Exeter to Glasgow route

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has announced the return of direct flights to and from Glasgow as part of its 2015-16 Winter programme, operating four days a week and effective for travel between 25 October 2015 and 26 March 2016.

One way fares are from £34.99 including taxes and charges.

Fans across the world have just 50 days to go until the start of Rugby World Cup 2015, hosted in England and in Cardiff between September 18 and October 31, 2015.

As the countdown continues, to what is predicted to be the biggest Rugby World Cup to date, fans will today have further opportunities to be part of Rugby World Cup 2015 as an additional 30,000 tickets go on general sale from 1200 (BST) for matches in Pools A and B via tickets.rugbyworldcup.com
