Devon health and wellbeing charity Westbank Community Health and Care is going from strength to strength. A new Finance Director has recently joined the Leadership Team.

Stephen Thomas, 32, grew up in North Devon and takes up his seat on the Board of Westbank less than a year after his initial appointment as Head of Finance and Business Planning. National law firm, Foot Anstey LLP has collaborated with Weston College to bolster its legacy team through the hiring of five Paralegals who will be trained to be specialists in the charity and legacy sector.

Gates to be removed on National Cycle Network to improve disabled access

Many of the gates and barriers found on Devon’s shared cycle and walking routes will be removed to help ensure that those with disabilities and mobility problems can access them more easily.

Devon’s popular National Cycle Network is one of the most spectacular in the country – almost 150miles in length, the route takes you through picturesque communities, over moorlands, along coastlines and canals and through woodland.

Project Manager who oversaw construction of Exeter’s flagship leisure centre, receives top award

The project manager of Exeter’s St Sidwell’s Point Leisure Centre has been crowned the Construction Manager of the Year in recognition of his work on the development.

Referee Emily Willett from Coalville, Leicestershire, was this week nominated by the RFU as the third referee who will join 49 other inspiring female officials at Twickenham this November – all to inspire more women into refereeing.
