Learn more about the power of plants in the year 1602 by helping our ‘herb women’ prepare natural remedies in the Tudor kitchen, using a variety of plants gathered from their own physick garden. Mistresses Eleanor and Christina are skilled in the knowledge and the use of herbs.
They will be preparing infusions, tisanes, poultices and healing salves for the benefit and wellbeing of the Hurst household.
Look at wildlife close up with a digital microscope and magnifying glasses and draw the patterns revealed.

Release the spirit of adventure in your children and let them discover and explore the natural world around them. This half term week children can take part in bushcraft skills - fire making, shelter building, campfire cooking, whittling, care and use of tools, arts and crafts including some really cool fire sculptures! and of course toasting marshmallows over the campfire!

An impressive and wide ranging display with vehicles attending from all over the country.
Classic vehicles of the past will be on display in the Pecorama Car Park between 11am and 4.30pm. There will be no extra charge with usual entrance fees to Pecorama applying.
