Exeter Chiefs winger Gonzalo Camacho will win his 18th international cap when he lines-up for Argentina in their opening Autumn international against Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday (2.30pm), writes Mark Stevens.

The 28-year-old speedster has only recently returned to Sandy Park having been away featuring for the Pumas in the inaugural Rugby Championship, a competition in which he started every game for his country.

Camacho, however, has wasted little time in making his mark for the Chiefs since his return – scoring Exeter’s opening try in their 33-9 victory...

As with many successful businesses, Ashgrove Kitchens really grew as a result of personal recommendation. In 1987 Andy Davis had set up a small business in Crediton to supply kitchen units to other trades, such as kitchen designers and fitters. But local people got to hear about it and word of mouth led him to start producing designer kitchens for retail customers.

The kitchens units are individually made at their factory in Crediton by skilled craftsmen, many of whom have been with the business since the beginning. As the company grew they expanded into making other interior fittings...

Network Central returns to Sandy Park

Network Central, the giant business-to-business exhibition, is returning to Exeter in November.

Among the highlights of the event promises to be a talk by Sally Hurst, the owner and founder of The Old Bag company, who is also the wife of Burts Chips’ founder Nick.

David Jones Embarks On A Charity Walk Of A Lifetime

Courageous David Jones, co-owner of Manna from Devon Cooking School, will be setting off on Sunday 16th December to walk the South West Coast Path.

David is embarking on this challenging walk, in the middle of winter, to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. The South West Coast Path is England's longest waymarked long-distance footpath and a National Trail. It stretches for 630 miles, running from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset.

£1.3 million loss for Flybe, but company still confident

Exeter-based Flybe this morning announced a £1.3 million loss in profits in its interim financial report.

The airline blames high fuel costs for the drop, which it says it couldn't pass on to its customers and is campaigning to reduce tax for domestic flights.

County Council welcomes ruling on home fees

Devon County Council has welcomed a High Court ruling that the way it calculates the fees it pays to independent sector care homes is fair and reasonable.

The judgement that the decision on fees was “a rational one which was preceded by a fair consultation process” comes after a judicial review into the way that this year’s 6.6% increase in fees was calculated.

The legal challenge was brought by a small number of independent care home owners and made on three separate grounds.
