Denbury and Torbryan Parish Council have submitted an application for their whole parish to be designated as a Neighbourhood Area with a view to producing a Neighbourhood Plan.

Local people who live and work in and around Denbury and Torbryan are being invited to comment on the application to create a Neighbourhood Plan for Denbury and Torbryan. Family fun at farm open day

Live music, great food and...piglet racing - just a few of the elements making up a Devon farm’s open day next weekend.

Kenniford Farm, which is just a few miles from Exeter at Clyst St Mary, is opening its gates to the public as part of Open Farm Sunday, which takes place on June 5.

Exeter Cathedral has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the third year running.

Major crash causes Big Weekend traffic chaos

People heading to Radio 1's Big Weekend at Powderham Castle experienced long delays following a serious two-vehicle collision near Matford roundabout in Exeter.

Police, ambulance, and the Devon Air Ambulance were called at 11.30am today (Sunday) following the collision between a car and a motorcycle on the A379 at Sannerville Way.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital by the air ambulance.

In the end there was to be no fairytale ending for Exeter Chiefs, but boy did Rob Baxter’s side put up an unbelievable fight.

Pitted against European and defending Aviva Premiership champions Saracens, Devon’s finest picked themselves off the deck following a first half flooring to shock their rivals with a ferocious second half fightback.

In the end, the Chiefs didn’t have quite enough in the tank as their spirited challenge was finally ended late on by a try from man of the match Alex Goode.

Knockout returns to raise funds for FORCE

The most colourful event on the FORCE Cancer Charity fundraising calendar is returning for a second year.

It's A Knockout will be held at Topsham Rugby Club on Saturday September 3.

Up to 72 teams of 10 will be taking part in games based on the popular TV show, using colourful inflatables, crazy costumes, props, water and, of course, lots of bubbles!

Last year’s event raised £23,500 as businesses, clubs and groups of friends competed in the 12-game spectacular.
