To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Farms for City Children, the charity founded by Michael and Clare Morpurgo in 1976, there will be a unique Christmas concert performed by Michael Morpurgo, Virginia McKenna and a capella group, Voices at the Door at 7.30pm on Friday 2nd December at Exeter Cathedral.

The event is being sponsored by Every’s Solicitors.

Surge in enquiries for flexible workspace as post-Brexit strategies unfold

The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) have received reports of several Portuguese Men-of-War washing up on beaches in Cornwall and Scilly Isles just weeks after authorities in Ireland warned local beach goers about a spate of recent strandings of this potentially dangerous floating sea creature. Stings can be exceptionally painful and in extreme cases fatal. Big boost for Pinhoe community project

New homes being built for people in Exeter are set to help generate £100,000 for a community project in Pinhoe.

A report is to come before councillors at Exeter City Council next month recommending £100,000 of funds are allocated to support the development of Pinhole Community Hub.

Pinhoe has been the subject to major new housing developments and the funding comes from New Homes Bonus, money paid to councils by central government for creating and freeing up homes for people to live in.
